We recently received a question from a member asking if they needed to obtain an Adult Care Home Operators Certificate to oversee a Home Plus on their campus if they were already a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The answer, according to Brenda Drehr, KDADS Director of Health Occupations and Credentialing, is no. An Adult Care Home Administrator’s License allows an individual to oversee any of the adult care homes regulated by the state.
