FEDERAL UPDATES
- New CMS PACE information.This article explains new flexibilities available to PACE organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. It answers questions on clinical concerns, staffing, eligibility, telehealth, quality/reporting, billing/payment, and CMS communications.
- CMS Office Hours at 4p.m. Today, CMS announced that they will hold “office hours” on COVID-19 TODAY, Tuesday April 14 from 4-5 PM Central. It is quite possible (though not confirmed; right now this is the only one announced) that these “office hours” will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at this same time. CMS describes this session as a “series of opportunities for hospitals, health systems, and providers to ask questions of agency officials regarding CMS’s temporary actions.
